Mar 8 ~
With the company of boss & Arwin, we visited Mod Living. Mainly chic and luxurious Italian at sky rocketed prices despite the items being on clearance sale. Ya ya. the spiral staircase kept us spinning as well. haha.

Then…I finally visited Haji Lane! A quaint yet hip stretch that houses a couple of indie labels. Do visit salad, a lifestyle boutique, so as to speak. The House of Japan is amazing, with its vast collections of jeans and stuff, thg I knew I aint gonna fit into them anyway…but ya. cool.
there is also another boutique with a neat but dim interior, stocking mainly guy’s sneakers, tees and accessories. Nice.
Missed the Straits Records. Apparently it is movin to Bali Lane.
Many shops weren’t open for biz thg.
Will visit the place yet again!

Finally got my long awaited acoustic guitar. Its polished in a unique blend of red and black. Awww...its simply awesome.

But the best thing is, I have boss to teach me! And he is just just just great! Kids who know music are simply charming, aren’t they?
All the mesmerizing melodies and captivating strumming! I gotta make sure I master the them!

Off to my guitar sessions~

< The Pursuit of Happyness >

The struggle to make a living
Out of something you want to believe in.
Yet bills, fines and installments never waits.
Your wife walks out on you. You insisted on taking your son with you.
Even though you are not sure if you can put him through.

Desperation. Drives you to do the most insane.
Homelessness. You have no choice but to seek a place of lodging like never before.

Nevertheless. u have an unwavering spirit.
Though all so often, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
Everything seems to be working against you.

"And it was at that time that I thought about Thomas Jefferson writing that Declaration of Independence. Him saying that we have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And I thought about how he knew to put the 'pursuit' in there, like no one can actually have happiness. We can only pursue it."

I was so emo.
And I thought I have forgotten how to cry.
