a silent prayer

For my dear friend,

I wish you will conquer the obstacle that is before you,

just so you have so much ahead of your life still.

You told me how school life is so much better than working life,

So please please, come back to school with us.

I don’t mind the many names you call me.

That you will continue your whimsical antics,

And I will bicker with you many times over.

Life’s not easy, and I believe this is only a trial, for you to overcome.

It takes more than courage and determination to survive this ordeal.

And I believe you will overcome it eventually.
