My mood went on a rollercoaster ride this week.

Recent catastrophes have made me sit back and take stock of what I have in my life.
Don’t we sometimes take all the little things in our lives for granted?
Our society, government, geographical location, infrastructure, political & economic environment?
How about our family and kin, friends and our fellow countrymen?

Children should not be deprived of education and play.
Yet many are struggling even to survive.
Such is the vulnerability of life.

I am not preaching here.
Singaporeans are generally humanitarian in nature.
Lets do some good. We are such fortunate people, aren’t we?
Save on that extravagant meal. With our little efforts, we shall kindly partake in making the world a better place.

Perhaps it’s the world’s way of reminding us so.
